Together with my partner, we created a line of hand-poured candles for Christmas presents to our loved ones that felt more personal than any gift you buy off the rack.

Inspired by the cherished memories of our maternal grandmothers—both named Joanne—we are honoured to pay homage to these remarkable women who cultivated the essence of family and joy. Joanne's House was born out of a desire to capture the spirit of those magical moments when the flickering flames of candles illuminated the faces of loved ones gathered around, sharing stories and laughter around the holidays.

We sought to infuse our candles with the same warmth and love that emanated from our families homes during the holidays. This meant meticulously designing all aspects of the gift—including the labels, the outer packaging, and a note that explained what Joanne's House meant to us. All designs were created in figma and printed at home.
